Bound together and sold in New Haven, Connecticut for Increase Cooke and Co. Full leather hardcover. In good condition, with superficial rubbing and wear to boards, primarily along edges and corners. Some loss to head of spine, along with cracking to leather from the bottom upwards. Light cracking to hinges at front and rear. Markings at front and rear, along with an ex-library bookplate form Yale University on the front pastedown. Text block remains bound well with minor wear. Frontispiece illustrations at front of each text. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.
