Illustrated with an engraved frontispiece, and with ten pages of plates, three of which are folding. Collated, complete. Retaining the original half title, with four pages of advertisements to the rear. With a new advertisement from the author to the start of the work, with the notice 'the author is proud to say, the work contains receipts which cannot be obtained from any other source; and not withstanding several attempts to supersede it, they have all proved fruitless. The seventh edition is a flattering testimony of public approbation'. The scarce expanded seventh edition of this work. CONDITION In a full calf binding. Front board detached. Head of rear joint starting, with board holding firm. Rubbing to joints and board perimeters, with gilt detailing to back strip. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean, with tide mark to head of each leaf from page 85 to the end of the work. Plate 9 partially restored to perimeters. This now sits alongside a companion volume, another work of Worcestershire historian and antiquarian, John Noak. I very much looking forward to reading it.
