1831 9 volumes Traite des Maladies Chirurgicales Boyer Medical Books Incomplete This listing is for an old and rare set of books, the 1831 edition, 9 volumes of the original 11 (two are missing) of Traite des Maladies Chirurgicales by Boyer. The books are in nice condition for the age. The covers show fading, wear, minor chipping. The first volume has heavy foxing toward the spine. The remaining volumes have only minor edge foxing/spots. The first volume contains notes written by hand in the end leaves. One volume has a few illustrations, copper plate engravings, some of which fold out of the book. Volume 9 and 10 are missing, as such the set is being offered at a dramatic discount. An interesting "bonus", inside was a bookmark that appears to be a band that might have been wrapped around a pamphlet of some other medical publication with inscription and ink stamps.
