These special brownish red leather-bound gift editions were never sold! They were only given to LDS Church employees in December as a Christmas gift from the First Presidency. Each book has gold gilt page edges, each measure 5.5" x 7.5" and has a yellow ribbon bookmark. Although these are no longer with their boxes or cards and they have been very carefully taken care About the Leather: These are made of beautiful, imported vegetable-tanned Invecchiato Italian leather, that was hand tanned by craftsmen in Italy. Vegetable-tanned leather is known for its scent, its brilliant nuances of color, and its natural veins and marks. Because the natural oils from your hands improve the finish, as you use your book the leather will become even more beautiful and valuable in the years to come. Condition: Each book is in Brand New condition! The bindings are all tight and all pages within are bright white with no writing, underlining, high-lighting, rips, tears, bends, or folds. The covers look perfect....EXCEPT someone has engraved their names on the front of both books. My library tech tried to remove the name on the triple, but it was taking too long and she wasn't achieving the results I expected, so I had her stop.
