Text in German. 8vo., 6 1/2" x 9 1/4", vii+1016; xi+936; xv+1415; xii+1043pp., numerous textual illustrations, vol 4 has fold-out plates. Finely bound in three quarter brown leather with white textured "snakeskin" covers, gilt spine titles and designs, raised bands and marbled edges. Light wear at the extremities, volume 3 has slight loss to the leather at midsection of front cover, small name in ink on title pages, else very good plus, clean, bright, unmarked, bindings tight. A very attractive set.
