This is the original instructional book by legendary acting teacher and director Milton Katselas that later became "Acting Class: Take a Seat." In looseleaf format, 225 pages. Self-published in 2001, and hard to find. Mr. Katselas, an accomplished theater and film director, founded the Beverly Hills Playhouse in California. "Acting Class: Take a Seat" was the standard text for his classes. Book contains exercises, prototypical dialogues between Milton and students, advice, and inspiration. Textured leather cover in very good condition, with bright metal rivets at corners, some minor surface wear. Text pages are unmarked and bright, with red chapter dividers. Index pages in back have smudges from over-inking. Also included is a full-color 8x10 glossy photo of Mr. Katselas and a 2008 tearsheet from Variety marking his passing. Ships in 24 hours.
