Encyclopedia set was as it was in the pictures given in the listing and as described. It was extremely well packed. 1-3 books at a time were wrapped in plastic, then wrapped sturdy paper, then packed in a box with extra cardboard piecies so they didn't move and then that sealed box was packed in a slightly larger box. Significant effort was put in for everything to get to us safely, which is extremely appreciated!
