Oxford Annotated Bible RSV NOAB Revised Standard Version Genuine Leather Expanded Edition The paper quality is astounding as Oxford published amazing editions back in those days. I found some minor abrasions to a few edges, but the genuine leather has held up well and is still very flexible. This includes the apocrypha in the back. The page edges have some consistent, though minor scratches. The binding is a very flexible, likely Berkshire leather, that has a rather elaborate river grain look to it. It feels great in the hand and is exceedingly rare these days. This is a slightly newer edition from 1985, I believe. I found no writing, no stamps, stains, tears, etc. I did find where one of the publisher pages was detached at the bottom, but not the top. Not sure how that happened. The spine has a slight, inward curve due to it having been stored upright. I will store this in such a way that by the time it sells, hopefully it will be greatly reduced in appearance. I always list any writing, stains, tears, or imperfection of any kind. And I always list the condition conservatively, so you should expect the item to be in better condition than listed. Unlike the vast majority of sellers out there, I refuse to hide imperfections through cleverly taken pictures or obscure descriptions. I try to include as many pictures as necessary to highlight the imperfections rather than the beauty of the items, which is part of why I have an elevated Seller Status and perfect feedback in which many consistently report back “just as described” or “better than described.” If I miss something by accident, please contact me so I can make it right.
